Welcome to my List of Recommended Supplies!

Here I will list some basic supplies for woodworking. If you are handy you should have most of these around the house.

I will also explain the recommended enviroment and workspace at the bottom of the page.

Vise

The vise is a simple tool that holds your work in place, this can be screwed into a table or clamped on.

Saw

Any saw will do for simple projects, but I would reccomend a saw like the one pictured above. It has a thin blade, cuts easily, and is relativly cheap.

Hatchet

A hatchet is a common tool, you can find a cheap one on amazon or a used one in a flee market of some sort. You will need this tool for the first two projects. I would highly reccomend the hatchet pictured above. It will last you a lifetime.

Drill

Almost everyone has a drill, but just in case you dont click on the image above and find one that is right for you. Also for the last project you will need spade bits.

Files

Files can be used for many diffrent projects, not only in woodworking. You can find a cheap set above.

What Is a Good Enviroment For Woodworking?

A good enviroment will have to be well ventilated, have lots of space, and perferably a solid floor (concrete or dirt, not the floor of a second story house)

What Is a Good Workspace For Woodworking?

A good workspace is for it to have a table (perferably a wooden workbench bolted to the floor or wall) and room for all of your tools and diffrent types of excess wood.
