A Simple Wooden Bench

In this video Rex shows how simple it is to get into wood working. This is actually one of the projects that got me into woodworking.

Supplies You Will Need - A Hatchet, a Saw of any sort, and any Wood I reccomend Pine (all supplies can be found at your local hardware store)

A Simple Wooden Mallet

In this video Rex shows how to make a mallet. A mallet can be useful for a numerous amount of things in woodworking. And he applies the same principle of 3 tools to this like in the last video.

Supplies You Will Need - A Hatchet, a Saw of any sort, and Wood. You will need a slab of fire wood for the mallet head (rex explains how to pick a good peice of fire wood) and for the handle you are going to need a hard wood, I reccomend Hickory.

A Wooden Ring

This video is a easy way to make a wooden ring out of standard tools. This is almost exaclty how I make wooden rings. He puts the ring on a drill and spins it with sandpaper to sand it down, I would reccomend getting a cheap set of files to file it down into an octogon shape, and then sand those corners down.

Supplies You Will Need - A Drill with Spade Bits, a Saw of any sort, a Vise, a File Set, and any Wood I reccomend a hard wood (you will need to find it online) but a soft wood will definetly work (found in your local hardware store)
